What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Billing details needed to process your payment (card payments are handled securely by Shopify and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card number)
- Course details, such as your age, swimming ability and any relevant experience
- Emergency contact details
- Basic health or medical information you choose to share so we can keep you safe in the water
- For participants under 18, parent or guardian details and consent
- Standard website data collected by Shopify, such as cookies, device and browsing information
Why we collect it
- To process your booking and payment
- To send you course information, including your Beginner's Guide and location details
- To run the course safely and respond in an emergency
- To answer your questions and provide customer support
- To send occasional updates about future courses and events, if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We only share it where needed to deliver your course, including with:
- Shopify and payment providers, to run this website and process payments
- Course partners such as Elementa Freediving, where they are co-delivering your course or providing your gear hire
- Emergency services, if needed for your safety
- Authorities, where required by law
Photos and video
We sometimes take photos or video during courses and may share them on our website or social media. If you'd rather not appear, just let your instructor know on the day or email us and we'll respect that.
How we keep it safe
We store your information securely and only keep it as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see, update or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing us. We'll respond within 30 days.
